About The Event
Our monthly First Friday event and Halloween Celebration
Featuring the Haunting work of Brandi Sellick
Relics of death, or rather, of life passing, are the inspiration for the macabre and beautiful work of Brandi Sellick. Sellick spends her days carrying mail in rural Missouri as well as backpacking, hiking and camping all over the country. Each and every animal in this exhibition was found deceased of natural causes, the flowers from her garden, and the blood her own.
“This is my way of recycling, to pay homage to these beautiful creatures who have passed. Nothing should have to die for the sake of art. ”
Ethically sourced and beautifully arranged, these tokens of lives passed can be viewed and appreciated for many years to come.
